Show Notes

Join Elizabeth Klein and Celeste Keith in a conversation about why music therapy and the benefits of music therapy while coping with cancer.  Music plays a subtle yet powerful role in our lives. It shapes our attitudes and pulls at our heart strings. It directs our biology and inhabits our vitality. It welcomes everyone and speaks a language all understand. The Music Therapist fills this session with fail safe— musician-proof “I can’t carry a tune in a bucket” experiences. Events like Intentional Music Listening, Guided Song Composition, and good old “grooving” experiences give participants the opportunity to voice the un-wordable, validate and reflect on perceptions, control symptoms, and better their own day to day music self care customs.
